The sunshine stone!
Citrine is a vibrant yellow to golden-orange variety of quartz, known for its warm, sunny appearance. It is often used in jewelry for its bright color and durability. Citrine's natural beauty and affordability make it a popular choice for rings, pendants, and other accessories, adding a cheerful, uplifting touch to any collection.
Metaphysically, Citrine is known as the "Stone of Abundance" and is believed to attract prosperity, success, and positive energy. It is also thought to enhance creativity, boost confidence, and promote joy. Citrine’s warm energy is said to clear negative emotions, making it a powerful tool for emotional balance and personal empowerment.
Citrine is primarily found in Brazil, with additional sources in Russia, Madagascar, and the United States. Natural Citrine is relatively rare, and much of the Citrine on the market is heat-treated amethyst, which achieves a similar golden hue. Brazil remains the leading source of high-quality Citrine used in the jewelry industry.
GEMS BY JAMI
Meet the Maker
Hi there! My name is Jami Schwager and I live in a small town in Northeastern Illinois named Johnsburg. We are located near the Chain of Lakes waterway and we (I am including my husband and captain of our vessel) LOVE boating on our Bayliner Cabin Cruiser in the summers! When I’m not on my boat you can usually find me making jewelry. In 2022 I decided to make birthstone bracelets with gemstones for the women in my family for Christmas gifts. I have been obsessed with making jewelry ever since! I enjoy coming up with new designs and discovering the beauty in each new gemstone I work with. Now I consider making jewelry my passion. I hope you enjoy my designs as much as I enjoy creating them. Thanks so much for checking out my shop!
